Friday 12th November The 2010 Dinner is booked for Friday 12th November. The Chairman is to be Philip Dodd and this is the first time that a son has followed his father in the role. Arthur Dodd was Dinner Chairman in 1981. Please enter the date in your diary now (that’s an order!).

Tom Redgate will host this lunch and will enlighten us on his time as a prisoner in Newdigate House and his introduction of celery to the inhabitants of Nottingham. The Day of the Zulu – Wednesday 24th March

Wednesday 24th March at 7.30 pm On Wednesday 24 March, Neil Aspinall will present a talk in the Clubroom, entitled ‘Jan 22nd 1879 – The Day of the Zulu’. There will be a slideshow account of the Zulu campaign and will include an impressive display of weaponry. The charge for the evening will be £15 including wine & nibbles.
