Summer Party 2009

Following the success of the 2009 Party, which was a sell out and greatly enjoyed by everyone that attended, we have decided to repeat it.
This year’s glittering event takes place on the evening of Friday 30 July and we hope that as many of you as possible will be able to make it.
We have booked the whole of World Service and there will be a sparkling reception followed by dinner. There will also be entertainment.
Due to the popularity of the event, tickets will initially be available for members only and their partners.
The cost of tickets is £49 per person which includes drinks and dinner.
Sue will be accepting bookings with payment, as soon as this newsletter arrives.
Armistice Dinner 2010 – Friday 12th November

Friday 12th November The 2010 Dinner is booked for Friday 12th November. The Chairman is to be Philip Dodd and this is the first time that a son has followed his father in the role. Arthur Dodd was Dinner Chairman in 1981. Please enter the date in your diary now (that’s an order!).

Networking Lunch

Martin Goddard hosts a monthly Club lunch to which younger members and their guests are invited. These are aimed at introducing the Club to younger prospective members and they have proved most successful and popular. The duration is 12.30pm to 2.00pm prompt. The next of these lunches is to be held on Wednesday 1st July and Martin would be happy to welcome members and their guests. Please contact Martin or Sue if you would like to attend.
